Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hubert Brasseur made the kick off which started today's match. Jacques Thepault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Guillaume Sole made a huge save. Alfred Belhadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Belval having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Rémelange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batiste Joubert to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Geneuille's Hubert Brasseur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brice Belval narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 minutes, Benoit Samyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rémelange and the Geneuille players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Rémelange got a freekick which was hit by Benoit Samyn. Hubert Brasseur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Brice Belval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre-Olivier Sevestre kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Geneuille's Alfred Belhadj got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacques Thepault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillaume Sole having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Antoine made a kick off. Michel Seret kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Guillaume Sole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Antoine, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Hubert Brasseur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Belval having to interfere. In the 58th minute, John Chaumette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Belhadj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Brice Belval made a huge save. 62 minutes into the game, Alfred Belhadj lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Brice Belval. When Pierre-Olivier Sevestre fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rémelange's protests and gave Pierre-Olivier Sevestre a yellow card for diving instead. Guillaume Sole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Antoine in the 70th minute of the match. Guillaume Sole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Thepault, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Geneuille's Guillaume Sole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques Thepault in the 80th minute of play. Renan Evesque's late challenge caught a Rémelange's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renan Evesque helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Geneuille got a freekick which was hit by Renan Evesque. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacques Thepault in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillaume Sole saved Geneuille from getting behind. In the 85th minute Hubert Brasseur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Belval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Belhadj struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Brice Belval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geneuille. After a defensive mix-up in Rémelange's zone, Hubert Brasseur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brice Belval came out of the goal and Hubert Brasseur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hubert Brasseur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Geneuille could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rémelange throughout the match.
