The Rémelange fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Vigot got free with Brice Belval in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Antoine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Benjamin Antoine made the kick off in the second half. Gaston Gentet's late challenge caught a Rémelange's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Gentet helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Roquettes got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Gentet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Vigot in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Belval prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacques Marec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Brice Belval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rémelange's Pierre-Olivier Sevestre got a free kick in the 70th minute. The attack was good, but when Jacques Marec in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rémelange's zone, Nicolas Vigot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brice Belval came out of the goal and Nicolas Vigot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brice Belval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacques Marec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tristan Guermeur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Antoine in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Rémelange's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Vigot came free, but Brice Belval reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Benjamin Antoine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roquettes's Tristan Guermeur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Pierre-Olivier Sevestre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rémelange's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roquettes the free kick. Pierre-Olivier Sevestre kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rémelange walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
