Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Ronald Giot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Meudon's Joris Lafaye got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ronald Giot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alexandre Larousse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Fargues in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddy Beaujard saved Marclaz from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Meudon's Hugues Pinet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 31 minutes into the game, Ludovic Bellec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marclaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meudon the free kick. Ludovic Bellec kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jean Fargues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eddy Beaujard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Aymes in the 44th minute of play forced Meudon's goalkeeper Alexandre Larousse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Ronald Giot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marclaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Giot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Fargues made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julien Marchand during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Meudon got a freekick which was hit by Julien Marchand. 54 minutes into the match, Marclaz's goal looked a bit too open when Hugues Pinet came free, but Eddy Beaujard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Fernand Mignard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddy Beaujard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Fargues, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Fargues in the 63rd minute of play forced Marclaz's goalkeeper Eddy Beaujard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddy Beaujard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Fargues in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Jean Fargues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddy Beaujard. Marclaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Fargues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Alexandre Larousse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Aymes in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Meudon's Fernand Mignard got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Hugues Pinet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Meudon defense, Ronald Giot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Larousse. The Meudon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Larousse should have stopped the shot. Ludovic Bellec hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Meudon got a freekick which was hit by Joe Gruel. Rene Aymes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Marclaz players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Meudon from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
