Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Achille Piou came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nerthe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Piou couldn't finish the play. If Emeric Ponsot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emeric Ponsot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joe Reinhardt came out and tried to block the shot, but Emeric Ponsot slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Nerthe's Joe Reinhardt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Nerthe from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Achille Piou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julien Ponchel. Rosses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Achille Piou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Achille Piou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Julien Ponchel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Emeric Ponsot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Wilfried Derache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Joe Reinhardt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, Alexandre Rieu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nerthe the free kick. If Louison Gillette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Nerthe's Achille Piou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julien Ponchel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joe Reinhardt came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Rosses's Emeric Ponsot. But to his dismay, Emeric Ponsot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Wilfried Derache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joe Reinhardt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julien Ponchel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Piou in the 68th minute of the match. Julien Ponchel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louison Gillette in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes Rosses got a freekick which was hit by Redouane Depre. In the 78th minute Wilfried Derache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Reinhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Jean Wojciechowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Louison Gillette got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 89 minutes into the match, Emeric Ponsot notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Nerthe's Joe Reinhardt. Joe Reinhardt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joe Reinhardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emeric Ponsot, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 96 minutes, Alfred Julian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerthe and the Rosses players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Wilfried Derache put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joe Reinhardt. Rosses's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
