Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barnabe Bontemps took the kick off in the first half of the match. Verel were furious when Robert Routier was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Verel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villemanoche:s goal. Cyril Lachaise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Allan Flamant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Villemanoche's Guillaume Magnier got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Jimmy Gorge could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Franck Blaison however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Gorge got free with Franck Blaison in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimmy Gorge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Blaison having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Karim Vache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck Blaison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Gorge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franck Blaison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Karim Vache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franck Blaison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Gorge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Karim Vache made the kick off in the second half. Karim Vache took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franck Blaison. Franck Blaison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Franck Blaison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Vache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyril Lachaise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Flamant having to interfere. Karim Vache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Franck Blaison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Verel getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mario Massonneau hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Villemanoche's Jimmy Gorge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franck Blaison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Igor Verdonck's late challenge caught a Villemanoche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Verdonck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Igor Verdonck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Vache in the 92nd minute of play forced Verel's goalkeeper Franck Blaison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villemanoche fans cheered their team off the field, for while Verel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
