Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Huberdière's Renaud Fauvel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villiers's goalkeeper Gérald Hubert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorian Garcia struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Cyprien Guine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villiers. Villiers's Gérald Hubert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaud Fauvel in the 19th minute of play. Hector Ferraton took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gérald Hubert. Gérald Hubert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 28 minutes, Désiré Noguès mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villiers and the Huberdière players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Huberdière booed when Villiers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Désiré Noguès didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Ferraton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gérald Hubert having to interfere. Hector Ferraton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aymerick Cordonnier fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villiers's protests and gave Aymerick Cordonnier a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Villiers got a freekick which was hit by Aymerick Cordonnier. When Renaud Fauvel came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Huberdière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renaud Fauvel couldn't finish the play. After the first half Huberdière were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavien Lacrouts to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Huberdière's goal looked a bit too open when Flavien Lacrouts came free, but Cyprien Guine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivier Nasri hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Renaud Fauvel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucien Pousse hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes Villiers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herbert Devilliers who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Herbert Devilliers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gérald Hubert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hector Ferraton succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 67th playminute. Hector Ferraton in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gérald Hubert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renaud Fauvel kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Hector Ferraton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavien Lacrouts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Coutanceau hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Simon Coutanceau fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huberdière's protests and gave Simon Coutanceau a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Huberdière getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Simon Coutanceau hit a great ball. Dorian Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Huberdière had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
