Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gregory Basset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rousselière's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Basset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Mialon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes Rousselière got a freekick which was hit by Thibaut Haas. Jimmy Foray might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joey Mialon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Foray ran back to his position shaking his head. Rousselière's Gregory Basset suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bruce Le hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dan Piron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jimmy Foray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Mialon having to interfere. Paulo Sarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Thibaut Bocher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Rousselière's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Sarda came free, but Thibaut Bocher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dan Piron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Piron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joey Mialon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rousselière's Dan Piron in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plagne's goalie prevented a goal. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rousselière! After having played for 45 minutes, Dan Piron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rousselière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Piron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Sarda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Paulo Sarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Plagne's Paulo Sarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thibaut Bocher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 59th play minutes Paulo Sarda shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Thibaut Bocher and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thibaut Haas during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rousselière's Thibaut Haas got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Rousselière defense, Antonin Pioche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thibaut Bocher. The Rousselière fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Bocher should have stopped the shot. When Thibaut Haas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. The supporters of Plagne booed when Rousselière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Duteil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonin Pioche in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thibaut Bocher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Rousselière getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Thierry Thelliez hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Paulo Sarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Bocher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joey Mialon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Piron in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Paulo Sarda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thibaut Bocher. Rousselière's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Sarda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The Plagne support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
