Jonas Gayral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grégoire Pellegrin in the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rochepinard defense, Jean-Charles Defosse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Réda Lombart. The Rochepinard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Réda Lombart should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grégoire Pellegrin in the 13th minute of play forced Richemont's goalkeeper Jonas Gayral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Richemont's Jonas Gayral got control of the ball when Salomon Bonnafoux tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Jonas Gayral managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Rochepinard's Salomon Bonnafoux fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rochepinard's Réda Lombart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theophile Hummel in the 20th minute of play. Theophile Hummel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Réda Lombart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Teddy Routier notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rochepinard's Réda Lombart. Réda Lombart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the game, Richemont's Theophile Hummel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Réda Lombart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jonas Gayral had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Grégoire Pellegrin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jonas Gayral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégoire Pellegrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jonas Gayral made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Salomon Bonnafoux sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grégoire Pellegrin to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Rochepinard:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Richemont:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Salomon Bonnafoux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rochepinard's supporters rose to their feet, but Salomon Bonnafoux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Gayral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Charles Defosse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Marcel Thiébault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnabé Suret charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Richemont played a much better game than Rochepinard and deserved their victory. The Rochepinard players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
