Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Aubrun in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonard Taine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathys Tahon charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathys Tahon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emmanuel Malaquin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aymerick Linder, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Samuel Aubrun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Taine having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Fontenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Le Baron to maneuver through the defense. If Samuel Aubrun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Richemont's Marin Allary got a free kick in the 16th minute. Emmanuel Malaquin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Titouan Poulin. Aymerick Linder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emmanuel Malaquin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gilbert Bannier came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Fontenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Bannier couldn't finish the play. Aymerick Linder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Richemont's goalkeeper Emmanuel Malaquin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Bannier. Leonard Taine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Edeline, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Taine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Edeline, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Aymerick Linder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Malaquin having to interfere. With a little luck, Richemont's Emmanuel Malaquin got control of the ball when Gilbert Bannier tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Aubrun in the 38th minute of play forced Fontenay's goalkeeper Leonard Taine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
52 minutes into the game, Gilbert Bannier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Emmanuel Malaquin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Aubrun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leonard Taine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When David Edeline came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Richemont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Edeline couldn't finish the play. Leonard Taine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Aubrun in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Fontenay got a freekick which was hit by Mathys Tahon. After a rather tough play, Fontenay's Renaud Lequesne got a free kick in the 83rd minute. It was beautiful to see Richemont's Jordy Thuault in action when he in the 84th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Emmanuel Malaquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aymerick Linder in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fontenay had won after a very even match.
