If Geoffroy Rogue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th play minute Mario Wozniak came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rudy Druon. 1-0. Jordan Macon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerald Turquet in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, Sassenage's Dimitri Loyer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jordan Macon was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Boisse in the 20th minute of play forced Cysoing's goalkeeper Jordan Macon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Theodore Ducloux fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cysoing's protests and gave Theodore Ducloux a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sassenage booed when Cysoing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodore Ducloux didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes, Benoit Marcoux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cysoing and the Sassenage players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sassenage booed when Cysoing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benoit Marcoux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordan Macon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Boisse, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Cysoing's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Loyer came free, but Jordan Macon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitri Loyer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jordan Macon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Sassenage's Rudy Druon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sassenage from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Dimitri Loyer made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sassenage's zone, Geoffroy Rogue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudy Druon came out of the goal and Geoffroy Rogue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sassenage's goalkeeper Rudy Druon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mario Wozniak scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudy Druon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Wozniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rudy Druon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cysoing's Jordan Macon got control of the ball when Guy Boisse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mario Wozniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Druon having to interfere. When Cysoing's Yannick Deblock in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sassenage's goalie prevented a goal. Rudy Druon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Wozniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Gerald Turquet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sassenage's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cysoing the free kick. With a little luck, Cysoing's Jordan Macon got control of the ball when Guy Boisse tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cysoing fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sassenage had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
