Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Donovan Terrade made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Sassenage's zone, Jacob Venturi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudy Druon came out of the goal and Jacob Venturi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Terrade in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudy Druon saved Sassenage from getting behind. Gerald Turquet's late challenge caught a Bédarrides's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerald Turquet helped the player get up and apologised. Donovan Terrade scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudy Druon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacob Venturi charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacob Venturi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacob Venturi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Gerald Turquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gregory Benhamou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Sassenage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitri Caspar to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 25 minutes, Guy Bouillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bédarrides's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Bouillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rudy Druon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donovan Terrade in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bédarrides's Gregory Benhamou got control of the ball when Guy Boisse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guy Boisse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Benhamou having to interfere. Guy Boisse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steve Durr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudy Druon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Venturi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 88th minute, Steve Durr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dimitri Loyer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Benhamou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Steve Durr helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sassenage booed when Bédarrides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Durr didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bédarrides had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
