After a defensive mix-up in Echirolles's zone, Pierre-Olivier Mignot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eymeric Becu came out of the goal and Pierre-Olivier Mignot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eymeric Becu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Olivier Mignot in the 5th minute of the match. When Junior Dubreuil came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Echirolles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Junior Dubreuil couldn't finish the play. Timothe Lagorce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Regis Prime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Regis Prime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Regis Prime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothe Lagorce having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis Prime in the 24th minute of play forced Magnan's goalkeeper Timothe Lagorce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Guyonvarch hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Junior Dubreuil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothe Lagorce having to interfere. Timothe Lagorce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Dubreuil in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henri Bouju got free with Eymeric Becu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eymeric Becu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Olivier Mignot, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Regis Prime had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timothe Lagorce. Magnan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Regis Prime was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Echirolles were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Ulysse Plazanet kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Francois-Xavier Gehin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eymeric Becu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Bouju in the 67th minute of the match. Junior Dubreuil struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Timothe Lagorce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echirolles. In the 70th minute of the match, Regis Prime got a very nice opportunity to score, but Timothe Lagorce was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Echirolles's Eymeric Becu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Bouju in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Junior Dubreuil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magnan's Timothe Lagorce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Henri Bouju got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 minutes of play, Echirolles's Regis Prime made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timothe Lagorce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timothe Lagorce came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Echirolles's Junior Dubreuil. But to his dismay, Junior Dubreuil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a little luck, Magnan's Timothe Lagorce got control of the ball when Regis Prime tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Echirolles players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
