Benjamin Vanlerberghe started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Romaric Bedouet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célestin Urien. Eulmont's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romaric Bedouet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Célestin Urien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romaric Bedouet in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Benjamin Vanlerberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célestin Urien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célestin Urien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Vanlerberghe, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Benjamin Lepage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castagniers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eulmont the free kick. Benjamin Lepage kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Benjamin Vanlerberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célestin Urien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Léopold Lamarre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jason Burdin. Castagniers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Léopold Lamarre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Benjamin Vanlerberghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castagniers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Vanlerberghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romaric Bedouet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Célestin Urien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Eulmont's Léopold Lamarre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jason Burdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Castagniers's Jason Burdin got control of the ball when Léopold Lamarre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Léopold Lamarre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Vanlerberghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamel Larroque stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Eulmont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Tricard to maneuver through the defense. Kamel Larroque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jason Burdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, one of Castagniers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Castagniers. 77 minutes into the match, Castagniers's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Larroque came free, but Jason Burdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Eulmont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Denoyelle to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Léopold Lamarre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eulmont's supporters rose to their feet, but Léopold Lamarre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Burdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Castagniers's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Larroque came free, but Jason Burdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eulmont's Sébastien Balle got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Léopold Lamarre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kamel Larroque scored 3-1 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jason Burdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eulmont had won after a very even match.
