Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Philippe Marron got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Philippe Marron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamotte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castagniers the free kick. In the 7th minute of the match Ethan Noury sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francois-Xavier Pruvot skillfully saved the ball. When Carlos Neau fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castagniers's protests and gave Carlos Neau a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lamotte booed when Castagniers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Neau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Belloir charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lamotte's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Marron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Burdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Romaric Bedouet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lamotte's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
