The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vivien Lemarchand helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Denouval's Vivien Lemarchand got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes, Pauline's Éloi Hervouet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andre Piquet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pauline reached it. Kevan Leblanc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Piquet having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Franklin Pothin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didier Pin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Éloi Hervouet, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Vivien Lemarchand was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 17 minutes had been played. The supporters of Pauline booed when Denouval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivien Lemarchand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Morgant struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Andre Piquet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pauline. Denouval's Andre Piquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Morgant in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denouval's goalkeeper Andre Piquet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevan Leblanc got free with Andre Piquet in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ronald Morgant came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Pauline fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Morgant couldn't finish the play. Kevan Leblancs short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Andre Piquet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Romaric Cottineau's late challenge caught a Pauline's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romaric Cottineau helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Denouval:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pauline:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francois Brousse to strike the kick off in the second half. When Kevan Leblanc came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Pauline fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevan Leblanc couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Morgant in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andre Piquet saved Denouval from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Denouval's goal looked a bit too open when Omer Combes came free, but Andre Piquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes, Didier Pin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denouval and the Pauline players grew even worse after the yellow card. Didier Pin kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Pauline got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Marsaud. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denouval's goalkeeper Andre Piquet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donovan Buisine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rodolphe Mure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Didier Pin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francois Brousse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolphe Mure having to interfere. Francois Brousse was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 92 minutes into the match, Pauline's goalkeeper Rodolphe Mure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francois Brousse. If Francois Brousse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luc Guillochon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denouval players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pauline.
