A beautiful save bye Bourdonnière's goalie prevented a goal. Gregory Taisne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabien Plantade's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alix Charpy in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregory Taisne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Claude Lesieur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Taisne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Alix Charpy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antibes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gregory Taisne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Charpy in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Antibes's Alix Charpy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregory Taisne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes in the game, Clement Wallerand fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Steve Chenot having to interfere. Fabien Plantade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Taisne having to interfere. Maurice Souverain hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Clement Wallerand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eloi Laumonier came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bourdonnière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloi Laumonier couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Omer Lucien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Steve Chenot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clement Wallerand in the 70th minute of play forced Antibes's goalkeeper Steve Chenot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bourdonnière getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Richard Philippeau hit a great ball. Gregory Taisne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alix Charpy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Alix Charpy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antibes's supporters rose to their feet, but Alix Charpy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Taisne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabien Plantade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gregory Taisne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alix Charpy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Taisne having to interfere. Fabien Plantades short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Gregory Taisne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gregory Taisne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alix Charpy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabien Plantade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alix Charpy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Taisne having to interfere. Alix Charpy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Antibes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Antibes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
