Budange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Duchatel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Dommartemont's Valerien Raffaelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Samuel Rautureau hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Valerien Raffaelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewan Wanner having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dommartemont fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Budange a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raphael Duperron, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dommartemont's Justin Bessonnet. 2-1. Budange's Ewan Wanner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Budange from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Budange's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valerien Raffaelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Budange getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Louis Guery hit a great ball. If Desire Eliot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dommartemont's Justin Bessonnet got control of the ball when Brian Duchatel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ewan Wanner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Desire Eliot's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Budange's Brian Duchatel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justin Bessonnet. Justin Bessonnet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. If Desire Eliot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Budange got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Pecheux. The Budange players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Dommartemont from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
