An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Karl Orlando got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thibaut Gelas scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yvan Debruyne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugues Foures struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Raoul Lenne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belleveu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibaut Gelas in the 23rd minute of play forced Belleveu's goalkeeper Yvan Debruyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Montady booed when Belleveu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Peyret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Orlando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes of play, Belleveu's Karl Orlando made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raoul Lenne was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Belleveu's zone, Rudy Guede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yvan Debruyne came out of the goal and Rudy Guede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudy Guede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Debruyne having to interfere. Montady's Desire Delavault collided with an opponent after 43 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. Maxime Peyret's late challenge caught a Montady's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxime Peyret helped the player get up and apologised. Maxime Peyret kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Raoul Lenne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugues Foures in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudy Guede was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Montady defense, Karl Orlando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raoul Lenne. The Montady fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raoul Lenne should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Belleveu booed when Montady was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilan Le Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibaut Gelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Debruyne having to interfere. Edmond Ribes's late challenge caught a Montady's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmond Ribes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Belleveu getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edmond Ribes hit a great ball. Raoul Lenne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Orlando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Belleveu's Karl Orlando in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montady's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Montady's Thibaut Gelas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yvan Debruyne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl Orlando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raoul Lenne having to make a save.
