The tension between the Armoy and the Douard players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Armoy getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Yannick Bouteille hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Armoy's zone, Charles Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Maubert came out of the goal and Charles Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brice Dargent had great luck who in the 8thth minute grab hold of the ball when Philippe Verwaerde from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Brice Dargent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe Verwaerde in the 17th minute of the match. When Joffrey Pupier came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Douard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joffrey Pupier couldn't finish the play. Martin Maubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Paul Limoges might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brice Dargent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean-Paul Limoges ran back to his position shaking his head. Junior Descroix hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rdth minute of the game Philippe Verwaerde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Douard's Brice Dargent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Verwaerde in the 46th minute of play forced Douard's goalkeeper Brice Dargent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Armoy booed when Douard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Delair didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitri Bruni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Brice Dargent skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philippe Verwaerde was the one to do the kick off. When Joffrey Pupier came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Douard fans jumped to their feet. Brice Dargent didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitri Bruni went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dimitri Bruni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brice Dargent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Tonon during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kevin Tonon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Philippe Verwaerde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Dargent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Maubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Armoy's Jean-Paul Limoges got a free kick in the 77th minute. Philippe Verwaerde kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Afonso in the 80th minute of play forced Armoy's goalkeeper Martin Maubert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Martin Maubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joffrey Pupier fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Douard's protests and gave Joffrey Pupier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Joffrey Pupier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
