Brice Dargent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Briey. Nathan Vaugeois in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brice Dargent, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antonin Chambaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georges Carneiro, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Briey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Douard the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Briey had won after a very even match.
