Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Loic Broux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Willem having to interfere. After 5 played minutes, Armoy's Patrick Lafage shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herve Hemard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armoy reached it. Bixente Lebas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Maurice Reynaud, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Loic Broux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Bixente Lebas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loic Broux might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Willem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loic Broux ran back to his position shaking his head. Herve Hemard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Rimbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Michael Gautier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Gautier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herve Hemard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Rimbert in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herve Hemard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Morcy's Romain Villemagne got a free kick in the 28th minute. Herve Hemard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Rimbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 40 minutes into the match, Michael Gautier notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Morcy's Herve Hemard. Herve Hemard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armoy's Michael Gautier got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Rimbert in the 61st minute of play forced Morcy's goalkeeper Herve Hemard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armoy's Michel Willem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loic Broux in the 70th minute of play. Michael Gautier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Gautiers short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Herve Hemard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lorenzo Rimbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herve Hemard having to interfere. Fabian Kaci hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Andre Payot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Morcy's goalkeeper Herve Hemard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Gautier. If Andre Payot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Armoy's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Payot came free, but Michel Willem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Rimbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herve Hemard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Armoy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Armoy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
