Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Juillet took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cyril Fourel charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyril Fourel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Escobecques was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Fourel to maneuver through the defense. Olivier Tual could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Bruno Adnet made a huge save. Escobecques's Germain Bony played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Lampin in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Cimiez's Bruno Adnet got control of the ball when Olivier Tual tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Victor Lampin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimiez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Lampin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Lampin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Germain Bony didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cimiez. 24 minutes into the match, David Juillet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Adnet, 1-0. Olivier Tual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Adnet having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Cimiez's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olivier Tual fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 41 played minutes, Cimiez's Morgan Sirieix shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Germain Bony came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cimiez reached it. A collision led to Escobecques getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Marvin Verne hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Victor Lampin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germain Bony saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Lampin to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascal Jacquel during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Victor Lampin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes, Cimiez's Ilan Herbaut shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Germain Bony came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cimiez reached it. Berenger Tisseyre hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Cimiez's Ilan Herbaut shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Germain Bony but with some difficulty. After 63 played minutes Escobecques got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Fourel. If Olivier Tual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cimiez defense, David Juillet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Adnet. The Cimiez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Adnet should have stopped the shot. Olivier Tual struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Bruno Adnet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escobecques. Escobecques's David Juillet got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Escobecques's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Lampin came free, but Germain Bony reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Escobecques's goalkeeper Germain Bony had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barthelemy Ansel. In the 81st minute, Escobecques's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Barthelemy Ansel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd match minute, Escobecques was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Verne to maneuver through the defense. Victor Lampin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Germain Bony didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cimiez. Barthelemy Ansel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Olivier Tual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, David Juillet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escobecques's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Juillet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Escobecques's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
