The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Roullier during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eden Callens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul-Henri Jacquelin having to interfere. Hugo Padre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Paul-Henri Jacquelin made a huge save. Florian Nouet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Barthez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Hugo Padre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul-Henri Jacquelin. Gitonniére's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Padre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Florian Nouet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Roullier in the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Gitonniére's goalkeeper Paul-Henri Jacquelin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Padre. Hugo Padre's late challenge caught a Gitonniére's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul-Henri Jacquelin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Alain Barthez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gitonniére's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alain Barthez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul-Henri Jacquelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Padre in the 76th minute of the match. Hugo Padre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul-Henri Jacquelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eden Callens in the 79th minute of play. Florian Nouet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Roullier, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Brétigny's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Padre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul-Henri Jacquelin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eden Callens in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul-Henri Jacquelin saved Gitonniére from getting behind. Eden Callens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul-Henri Jacquelin having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gitonniére players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brétigny.
