The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danny Laumonier during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Gorbio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Laumonier to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Cantenay's Yohann Blavette broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ruben Chiffoleau charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Chiffoleau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruben Chiffoleau hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Donatien Boureau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Bonnefoi having to interfere. A collision led to Gorbio getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Clement Ragueneau hit a great ball. Serge Bonnefoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Delorme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddy Delorme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Serge Bonnefoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donatien Boureau kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Prosper Primault made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cantenay's goal looked a bit too open when Prosper Primault came free, but Kevin Pauchet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddy Delorme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cantenay's zone, Prosper Primault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Pauchet came out of the goal and Prosper Primault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Maurey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prosper Primault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Pauchet having to interfere. During the 67th minute of the match Danny Laumonier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Danny Laumonier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Gorbio's Danny Laumonier got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Tony Nagel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Cantenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Nagel couldn't finish the play. Tony Nagel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Serge Bonnefoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddy Delorme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 79 minute of play. In the 83rd minute Tony Nagel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serge Bonnefoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Eddy Delorme got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 87 minutes into the match, Cantenay's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Maurey came free, but Kevin Pauchet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serge Bonnefoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Nagel in the 89th minute of the match. Gorbio's Serge Bonnefoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Gorbio from getting a goal against them. In the 91st match minute, Gorbio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Paya to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
