Carlos Debacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davy Machard in the 8th minute of the match. Morgan Pape hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Joey Courtin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Bouveret having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Joey Courtin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faroulais's William Bouveret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Avully booed when Faroulais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Piet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nelson Ricordel fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avully's protests and gave Nelson Ricordel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Nelson Ricordel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Bouveret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djimmy Seillier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faroulais's William Bouveret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djimmy Seillier in the 31st minute of play. Gerald Vigier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carlos Debacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joey Courtin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gerald Vigier came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Faroulais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerald Vigier couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Faroulais's Raymond Touraine got a free kick in the 43rd minute. William Bouveret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Courtin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davy Machard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joey Courtin was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Faroulais getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ulysse Saada hit a great ball. If Djimmy Seillier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute of the match, Joey Courtin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but William Bouveret saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Joey Courtin came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Avully fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joey Courtin couldn't finish the play. William Bouveret made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Djimmy Seillier sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st match minute, Faroulais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Pape to maneuver through the defense. Joey Courtin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Faroulais booed when Avully was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Courtin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
