The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geoffrey Kergoat helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 minutes of play, Chatenet's Emeric Hernandez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francois Cottineau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francois Cottineau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregoire Oliviero in the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Baptiste Vittoz got free with Axel Massias in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Emeric Hernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Francois Cottineau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc Le Gac during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Verlinghem booed when Chatenet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Le Gac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Massias made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Jean-Baptiste Vittoz sent off a good shot on target. Axel Massias was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Benoit Grandpierre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benoit Grandpierre really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emeric Hernandez in the 36th minute of play forced Verlinghem's goalkeeper Francois Cottineau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emeric Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoffrey Kergoat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

58 minutes into the match, Emeric Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francois Cottineau. Jean-Baptiste Vittoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Massias having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Verlinghem's Jean-Baptiste Vittoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Massias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Axel Massias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benoit Grandpierre in the 88th minute of play. When Verlinghem's Jean-Baptiste Vittoz in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
