In the 8th minute, Luc Chalvet made a precise shot to the right of Ramzi Lambolez. Bruebach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Maertens in the 13th minute of play forced Bruebach's goalkeeper Ramzi Lambolez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Djibril Barnabe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruebach's supporters rose to their feet, but Djibril Barnabe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Tricaud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Djibril Barnabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mohamed Tricaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luc Chalvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Lambolez having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Harold Maertens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramzi Lambolez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Bruebach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspard Tardif to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Maertens in the 25th minute of play forced Bruebach's goalkeeper Ramzi Lambolez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luc Chalvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Harold Maertens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ramzi Lambolez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Pioline booed when Bruebach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Creach didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bruebach's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lorenzo Wirth was slow to take the kick. During this time Pioline's players had a chance to rest. Luc Chalvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ramzi Lambolez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Luc Chalvet sped through Bruebach's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramzi Lambolez.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harold Maertens to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Constantin Flipo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed Tricaud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luc Chalvet got free with Ramzi Lambolez in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Creach during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Constantin Creach kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Harold Maertens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruebach's Ramzi Lambolez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Pioline's Luc Chalvet made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramzi Lambolez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohamed Tricaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspard Judith in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bruebach's Gaspard Tardif got a free kick in the 67th minute. Djibril Barnabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Gaspard Judith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Tricaud was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Mohamed Tricaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspard Judith in the 79th minute of the match. Bruebach's Ramzi Lambolez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Bruebach from getting a goal against them. After having played for 95 minutes, Harold Maertens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pioline's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold Maertens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djibril Barnabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mohamed Tricaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pioline eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
