Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vivien Lesimple started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Ecault's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Poidevin came free, but Blaise Blois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Desire Hoareau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecault's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pontoise the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecault's Desire Hoareau got a free kick in the 4th minute. Pontoise's Edouard Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Poidevin in the 9th minute of play forced Ecault's goalkeeper Blaise Blois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edouard Soares came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pontoise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edouard Soares couldn't finish the play. Blaise Blois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Poidevin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Edouard Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Blaise Blois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edouard Soares scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blaise Blois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute Vivien Lesimple shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmid Chardon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivien Lesimple struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ahmid Chardon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecault. Rodrigue Selle charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigue Selle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 38 minutes, Gerard Moulet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecault's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Moulet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecault were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Pontoise's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lionel Schlegel took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Noe Lavault heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerard Moulet got free with Ahmid Chardon in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edouard Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerard Moulet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ahmid Chardon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francis Poidevin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Blaise Blois made a huge save. Gerard Moulet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ahmid Chardon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcom Rocher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francis Poidevin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Blaise Blois made a huge save. When Ecault's Vivien Lesimple in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pontoise's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th match minute, Ecault was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noe Lavault to maneuver through the defense. Blaise Blois made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Francis Poidevin sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 93 minutes, Gerard Moulet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecault's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Moulet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
