Ghislain Georgel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desire Plantade in the 14th minute of play. Ramzi Ribault hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Crimolois were furious when Brian Couraud was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 21st minute, one of Crimolois:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Crimolois. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Quiévrechain. Benoit Santos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Herbert Pernet. 1-0. Quiévrechain's Gabriel Noyon got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Antonin Vallee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiévrechain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonin Vallee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samy Le Maux hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Joel Hulot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghislain Georgel having to interfere. The supporters of Quiévrechain booed when Crimolois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Richardson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Benoit Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Pernet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Noyon was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Quiévrechain's Samuel Beguin got a free kick in the 78th minute. Antonin Vallee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Herbert Pernet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samy Le Maux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Antonin Vallee made a precise shot to the right of Herbert Pernet. Crimolois's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Gabriel Noyon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Quiévrechain's Antonin Vallee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Pernet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Quiévrechain's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
