A very good chance. Louison Thuret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Noyon, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Louison Thuret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Vallee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Lezennes's zone, Gabriel Noyon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louison Thuret came out of the goal and Gabriel Noyon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes, Quiévrechain's Maxence Lavit shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Louison Thuret came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quiévrechain reached it. A collision led to Lezennes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jolan Laye hit a great ball. Gabriel Noyon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonin Vallee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louison Thuret having to interfere. Gabriel Noyon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Gabriel Noyon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiévrechain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Noyon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Bouzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, William Bouzon made a precise shot to the right of Ghislain Georgel. Quiévrechain's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Quiévrechain's Ghislain Georgel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cozic in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quiévrechain's zone, Igor Cozic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ghislain Georgel came out of the goal and Igor Cozic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Bouzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ghislain Georgel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yann Michard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louison Thuret having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Jolan Laye notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Quiévrechain's Ghislain Georgel. Ghislain Georgel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lezennes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
