The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herbert Pernet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Bouzon's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ewan Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Lezennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ewan Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. If Igor Cozic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Sacha Butel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Igor Cozic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lezennes's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Cozic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Pernet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th play minute Samy Le Maux came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Louison Thuret. 1-0. After 21 minutes, Joel Hulot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crimolois and the Lezennes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Samy Le Maux made a precise shot to the right of Louison Thuret. Lezennes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 31 minutes, William Bouzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lezennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Bouzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desire Plantade struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Louison Thuret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crimolois. Samy Le Maux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louison Thuret made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Samy Le Maux sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Desire Plantade scored 3-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louison Thuret, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Lezennes booed when Crimolois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baptiste Duplouy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Crimolois's Desire Plantade got a free kick in the 65th minute. Igor Cozic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Desire Plantade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Gilles Severin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samy Le Maux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Louison Thuret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Crimolois's Desire Plantade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Louison Thuret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Lezennes's William Bouzon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Pernet. Herbert Pernet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Bouzon in the 87th minute of play forced Crimolois's goalkeeper Herbert Pernet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desire Plantade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desire Plantade's late challenge caught a Lezennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desire Plantade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Crimolois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desire Plantade to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Crimolois could leave the field as winners, despite Lezennes having more of the ball for most of the match.
