Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felicien Souquet started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Cedric Herbin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugues Dechaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Thome was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jean-Marc Jamot. Leon Groux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugues Dechaux having to interfere. If Cedric Herbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugues Dechaux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Groux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felicien Souquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Bris kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Cedric Herbin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrice Hell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Groux in the 34th minute of play forced Longpré's goalkeeper Hugues Dechaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Provostais's Leon Groux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugues Dechaux narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Provostais's Leon Groux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugues Dechaux made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Cedric Herbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cedric Herbin to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Provostais's Leon Groux got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fabrice Hell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Yves Thome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felicien Souquet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugues Dechaux made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Groux in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Provostais booed when Longpré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Bris didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Cedric Herbin took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Hugues Dechaux to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Cedric Herbin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Provostais's supporters rose to their feet, but Cedric Herbin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugues Dechaux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Provostais's Leon Groux got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Cedric Herbin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugues Dechaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Provostais's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrice Hell came free, but Yves Thome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cedric Herbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Provostais's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
