Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Villaret booed when Veissieux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Briatte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes of play, Villaret's Germain Latapie made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Chaperon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Germain Latapie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Veissieux's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francis Bonneau fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 12th minute Eloi Legroux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Domenge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Veissieux getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Thierry Torrent hit a great ball. Johan Chaperon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germain Latapie in the 18th minute of the match. Renan Domenge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terry Mariette's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Eloi Legroux made a precise shot to the right of Renan Domenge. Villaret's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gerald Bellion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villaret's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerald Bellion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johan Chaperon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veissieux's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Germain Latapie scored to the left of an out of position Johan Chaperon, making the score, 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Francis Bonneau notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Veissieux's Johan Chaperon. Johan Chaperon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Villaret's Germain Latapie in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veissieux's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute of the match Adam Toulouse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Chaperon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Eloi Legroux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Francis Bonneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germain Latapie to make the kick off. Chris Letourneux's late challenge caught a Villaret's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Letourneux helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Veissieux's Chris Letourneux got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Renan Domenge made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Eloi Legroux sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Villaret's zone, Terry Mariette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Domenge came out of the goal and Terry Mariette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veissieux's goalkeeper Johan Chaperon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Veissieux's Johan Chaperon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Bonneau in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germain Latapie in the 76th minute of play forced Veissieux's goalkeeper Johan Chaperon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Villaret's Francis Bonneau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johan Chaperon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Francis Bonneau struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Johan Chaperon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaret. Gerald Bellion kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Veissieux's Eloi Legroux got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terry Mariette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Domenge having to interfere. Villaret's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
