Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eugene Baud started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nicolas Barbin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Chonnay's Mohamed Urban couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Emerainville. In the 7th minute, Felix Pere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles-Henri Jeannet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugene Baud in the 10th minute of play. Bruno Leoni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Servant in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Emerainville. Nicolas Barbin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bruno Leoni. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Contet during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesar Contet kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Charles-Henri Jeannet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugene Baud's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Emerainville's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Pere came free, but Charles-Henri Jeannet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Emerainville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chonnay:s goal. In the 32nd minute, Mohamed Urban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles-Henri Jeannet came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Chonnay's Eugene Baud. But to his dismay, Eugene Baud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 39th minute, Valentin Retif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nicolas Barbin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emerainville's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Barbin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Leoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Felix Pere fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chonnay's protests and gave Felix Pere a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Emerainville booed when Chonnay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Pere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Servant in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Leoni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Charles Servant scored 2-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Leoni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Marc Delapierre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Pere kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Jean-Marc Delapierre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Jean-Marc Delapierre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Leoni was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 64 minutes into the match, Chonnay's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Cotte came free, but Bruno Leoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Servant in the 66th minute of play forced Chonnay's goalkeeper Bruno Leoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Emerainville's Charles-Henri Jeannet got control of the ball when Felix Pere tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Marc Delapierre in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Leoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Henri Jeannet having to interfere. If Eugene Baud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles-Henri Jeannet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugene Baud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Marc Delapierre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Leoni came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Emerainville's Yves Cotte. But to his dismay, Yves Cotte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 94th minute, Yves Cotte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chonnay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Emerainville.
