Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samy Hauguel got the match started through his kick off. Jacob Moureaux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samy Hauguel in the 5th minute of the match. Jacob Moureaux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samy Hauguel's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes Barbentane got a freekick which was hit by Felicien Baclet. Samy Hauguel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacob Moureaux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Alphonse Perron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Moureaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raffuneau's Samy Hauguel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samy Hauguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Samy Hauguel came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Raffuneau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samy Hauguel couldn't finish the play. Samy Hauguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samy Hauguel in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Moureaux saved Barbentane from getting behind. Michel Leboucher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didier Ferri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Raffuneau's Alphonse Perron in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barbentane's goalie prevented a goal. Samy Hauguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Raffuneau's Alphonse Perron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Moureaux narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute of the match Barthelemy Malot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Moureaux showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Marie Dollet to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Alphonse Perron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raffuneau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barbentane the free kick. After 56 played minutes Raffuneau got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Perron. Alphonse Perron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacob Moureaux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Raffuneau's Alphonse Perron got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Barbentane's Jacob Moureaux got control of the ball when Alphonse Perron tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Raffuneau booed when Barbentane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Meier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samy Hauguel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacob Moureaux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Felicien Baclet hit a great ball. If Samy Hauguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didier Ferri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Marie Dollet in the 80th minute of the match. Raffuneau played a much better game than Barbentane and deserved their victory. The Barbentane players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
