Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sorgues's Sofiane Morin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fossat's Walter Pradelles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Fossat from getting a goal against them. Sorgues's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rene Gaborit in the 14th minute. A nice corner shot did that Rene Gaborit got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Walter Pradelles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mathys Marchi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Steven Raoul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabrice Chartier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrice Chartier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cyprien Levasseur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Raoul made a kick off. When Steven Raoul came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Fossat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Raoul couldn't finish the play. Walter Pradelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiane Morin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Sofiane Morin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fossat's Walter Pradelles. Walter Pradelles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabrice Chartier's late challenge caught a Sorgues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrice Chartier helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fossat's Lucien Moussaoui got a free kick in the 77th minute. Rene Gaborit, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 79 played minutes Fossat got a freekick which was hit by Alex Condette. Sofiane Morin took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Pradelles. Walter Pradelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Sorgues's Cyprien Levasseur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Sorgues from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sorgues could leave the field as winners, despite Fossat having more of the ball for most of the match.
