Hippolyte Anfray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewan Fouchard having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Lucas Thibault managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantarel's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Thibault was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewan Fouchard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Ventabren's Ewan Fouchard got control of the ball when Hippolyte Anfray tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, one of Cantarel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ventabren a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Igor Vericel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cantarel's Johan Ricordel. 0-1. Lucas Thibault hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Igor Vericel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ventabren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cantarel the free kick. The supporters of Cantarel booed when Ventabren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Vericel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hippolyte Anfray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantarel's supporters rose to their feet, but Hippolyte Anfray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewan Fouchard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute of the match, Hippolyte Anfray got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ewan Fouchard was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 36 played minutes, Cantarel's Ronan Frank shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ewan Fouchard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cantarel reached it. In the 37th minute Lucas Thibault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewan Fouchard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonin Parisot hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yannick Flores to make the kick off. Ventabren's Ewan Fouchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Thibault in the 59th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Achille Lecourtois mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ventabren and the Cantarel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cantarel booed when Ventabren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Lecourtois didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Thibault in the 73rd minute of play forced Ventabren's goalkeeper Ewan Fouchard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Andre Delion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johan Ricordel. Cantarel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andre Delion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Johan Ricordel made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Andre Delion sent off a good shot on target. Ewan Fouchard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hippolyte Anfray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andre Delion took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Ricordel. Johan Ricordel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 96th match minute, Cantarel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Cozic to maneuver through the defense.
