Barthelemy Drouet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felicien Herpin during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Hoenheim got a freekick which was hit by Felicien Herpin. Perrache's Anatole Sauvan got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zinedine Surget showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatole Sauvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatole Sauvan in the 17th minute of play forced Hoenheim's goalkeeper Zinedine Surget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Hoenheim's Eric Gardin threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barthelemy Drouet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rudy Chatelain hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Renaud Loaec kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Perrache's Anatole Sauvan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zinedine Surget narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hoenheim's Zinedine Surget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivien Pasquier in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivien Pasquier in the 40th minute of play forced Hoenheim's goalkeeper Zinedine Surget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Vivien Pasquier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perrache's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivien Pasquier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Barthelemy Drouet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudy Chatelain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When Hoenheim's Barthelemy Drouet in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perrache's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Leman in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gardin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Vivien Pasquier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Hoenheim's goal looked a bit too open when Anatole Sauvan came free, but Zinedine Surget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anatole Sauvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zinedine Surget tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Leman charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Leman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hoenheim getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Axel Leman hit a great ball. Rudy Chatelain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Surget having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Perrache's Vivien Pasquier got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Barthelemy Drouet struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Eric Gardin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoenheim. Eric Gardin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Leman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erwin Moulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
