Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Christian Roulland started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastien Mangot in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vivien Requier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kevin Fabien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Ragon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Desvignes to maneuver through the defense. Florentin Lepoutre made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Romain Battini sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Kevin Fabien made a precise shot to the right of Vivien Requier. Ragon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Fays was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corentin Virapin to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Bernard Devanne in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Christian Roulland kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Romain Battini struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Florentin Lepoutre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ragon. 32 minutes into the match, Fays's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Roulland came free, but Florentin Lepoutre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Roulland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentin Lepoutre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Roulland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Bastien Mangot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fays's supporters rose to their feet, but Bastien Mangot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivien Requier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Kevin Fabien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivien Requier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bernard Devanne sped through Ragon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vivien Requier.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Fabien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bernard Devanne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustave Desvignes's late challenge caught a Fays's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustave Desvignes helped the player get up and apologised. Gustave Desvignes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Bernard Devanne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Romain Battini came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ragon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romain Battini couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Fays getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bastien Mangot hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Christian Roulland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentin Lepoutre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 78th minute, Redouane Hervier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentin Lepoutre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Roulland in the 82nd minute of play. Romain Battini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Florentin Lepoutre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sylvain Pradel fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ragon's protests and gave Sylvain Pradel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ragon getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Sylvain Pradel hit a great ball. The long shot by Redouane Hervier in the 94th minute really tested Vivien Requier's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Bernard Devanne came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Fays fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Devanne couldn't finish the play.
