The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harry Huon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alphonse Le Corre charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alphonse Le Corre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernard Devanne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernard Devannes short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Leo Wallerand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Florentin Lepoutre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Huon in the 29th minute of play. Bernard Devanne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leo Wallerand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Contes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aime Bouleau to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Kevin Fabien fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Contes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fays:s goal.

Kevin Fabien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Wallerand having to make a save. Florentin Lepoutre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Vinel in the 64th minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Fays was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corentin Virapin to maneuver through the defense. Harry Huon struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Florentin Lepoutre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Contes. Bernard Devanne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Wallerand having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play Contes's Joris Terret was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Contes's Leo Wallerand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Fabien in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Bernard Devanne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Wallerand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Fabien's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Bernard Devanne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Leo Wallerand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fays's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
