Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Ros started the match with the kick off. Transloy's Berenger Valade got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raoul Saux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Touchard in the 8th minute of play. If Paulo Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Karl Touchard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pâtis's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Touchard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raoul Saux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Transloy booed when Pâtis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Berenger Valade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Paulo Ros came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Transloy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Ros couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Transloy getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Flavien Willot hit a great ball. Raoul Saux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Castille in the 28th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Transloy's Fabrice Verbeke threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulo Ros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Berenger Valade struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fabrice Verbeke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Transloy. In the 37th minute Paulo Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrice Verbeke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Paulo Ros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Castille made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Berenger Valade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrice Verbeke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Berenger Valade made a precise shot to the right of Fabrice Verbeke. Pâtis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Touchard got free with Raoul Saux in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabrice Verbeke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berenger Valade in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Pâtis's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Ros came free, but Fabrice Verbeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Karl Touchard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Kevin Ferran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pâtis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Transloy the free kick.
