Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kevan Bouissou made the kick off which started today's match. When Kevan Bouissou came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Narbonne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevan Bouissou couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes of play, Mazerulles's Isaac Bou made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jérémy Grassin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Mazerulles's Tommy Decoster got a free kick in the 19th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Narbonne's Alphonse Kretz tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thierry Merlier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevan Bouissou in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Kevan Bouissou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thierry Merlier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salomon Loquet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jérémy Grassin having to make a save. If Salomon Loquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon Loquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jérémy Grassin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jérémy Grassin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomon Loquet in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Narbonne defense, Isaac Bou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jérémy Grassin. The Narbonne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jérémy Grassin should have stopped the shot. After the first half Mazerulles were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Bou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mazerulles's zone, Marvin Baumgarten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thierry Merlier came out of the goal and Marvin Baumgarten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd minute, Frederic Burnel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Marvin Baumgarten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Narbonne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marvin Baumgarten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marvin Baumgarten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Decoster hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Isaac Bou struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jérémy Grassin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazerulles. When Maximilien Charpentier fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazerulles's protests and gave Maximilien Charpentier a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Mazerulles got a freekick which was hit by Maximilien Charpentier. In the 72nd minute, one of Mazerulles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mazerulles. If Salomon Loquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Isaac Bou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mazerulles's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Bou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jérémy Grassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Salomon Loquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Kevan Bouissou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Narbonne's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevan Bouissou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thierry Merlier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marvin Baumgarten in the 91st minute of play forced Mazerulles's goalkeeper Thierry Merlier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Narbonne's Kevan Bouissou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thierry Merlier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marvin Baumgarten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thierry Tonnerre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emile Vieux hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Kevan Bouissou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
