Samuel Bulle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jean Lance had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Samuel Bulle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Bisch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Bisch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Lance, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Samuel Bulle came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Rocheville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Bulle couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorien Bartoli in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Bisch saved Aiguille from getting behind. José Bisch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Bulle, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Rocheville booed when Aiguille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batiste Sommier didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rocheville getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jean-Charles Bibard hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigue Bonjean in the 44th minute of play forced Rocheville's goalkeeper Matthieu Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigue Bonjean to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rocheville fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Aiguille a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Georges Boudoux, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rocheville's Matthieu Cardoso. 1-0. Jean Lance fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Bisch having to interfere. Tim Dubuc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthieu Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Batiste Sommier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Rodrigue Bonjean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthieu Cardoso. Rocheville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigue Bonjean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jean Lance could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but José Bisch made a huge save. Tim Dubuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Matthieu Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Norbert Barbeau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rocheville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aiguille the free kick. Norbert Barbeau hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rodrigue Bonjean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocheville's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
