Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Romeo Milcent made the kick off and thus started the match. Robin Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Louis Boudes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Barnabe Issartel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnabe Issartel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Fromont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felicien Gournay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sète's attack was well implemented in the 10th minute, but when Felicien Gournay was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Maurice Jeudy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Boudes having to interfere. The supporters of Stockfeld booed when Sète was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Mairet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Roig was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Alexis Mairet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sète's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockfeld the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sète's Alexis Mairet got a free kick in the 19th minute. Romeo Milcent blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bob Fromont having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Stockfeld's Barnabe Issartel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Fromont narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Louis Boudes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felicien Gournay, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 46th minute of the match Lionel Roig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bob Fromont skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurice Jeudy to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Stockfeld getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ghislain Gaillac hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Felicien Gournay sped through Stockfeld's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Louis Boudes. Barnabe Issartel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noe Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Barnabe Issartel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabe Issartel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurice Jeudy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Boudes having to interfere. Louis Boudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Jeudy in the 96th minute of the match. Sète's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
