Hugo Galmiche hit a great ball. Renaud Dudouit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Terry Dournel made a huge save. Lesquin's Christian Degremont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Marie Landier in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Renaud Dudouit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Degremont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Marie Landier in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Charly Hautin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Dournel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terry Dournel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charly Hautin's shot from short distance in the 74th minute.
