Gregoire Derville's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Pélat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Mory's Romaric Jumeaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Siegel in the 39th minute of play. Gregoire Derville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd match minute, Maxéville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Yves Pouzet to maneuver through the defense. Mory's Prosper Couget couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maxéville. If Gregoire Derville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregoire Derville who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Thibaut Pélat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mory's Romaric Jumeaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Coquard in the 59th minute of play. Mike Coquard might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romaric Jumeaux. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mike Coquard ran back to his position shaking his head. Maxéville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Gregoire Derville scored to the left of an out of position Thibaut Pélat, making the score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Siegel in the 75th minute of play forced Mory's goalkeeper Romaric Jumeaux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aime Calmel came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thibaut Pélat could save by the left post. If Mike Coquard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-2 became the score in the 85th minute when David Siegel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
