Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tristan Goude started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Yvan Soullard made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Lionel Faugere sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Goude in the 11th minute of play forced Borderu's goalkeeper Herve Hervieux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yvan Soullard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Gazel in the 12th minute of the match. Lionel Faugere blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yvan Soullard having to make a save. A hard shot 15 in the game by Lionel Faugere from a close distance when the talented Yvan Soullard managed to make a qualified save. Portel's players were relieved. 17 minutes into the match, Lionel Faugere notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portel's Yvan Soullard. Yvan Soullard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Portel's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Gazel came free, but Yvan Soullard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lionel Faugere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Soullard having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Boris Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borderu the free kick. After 28 played minutes Portel got a freekick which was hit by Boris Batista. Portel's Yvan Soullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Gazel in the 29th minute of play. Florent Bastide struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Herve Hervieux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portel. Herve Hervieux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tristan Goude, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Lionel Faugere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Soullard having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Tristan Goude made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Borderu's Herve Hervieux tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Borderu booed when Portel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harold Acker didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tristan Gazel to make the kick off. The supporters of Portel booed when Borderu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Peuch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Portel's Harold Acker tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Borderu's Herve Hervieux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Goude in the 61st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borderu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Portel. Harold Acker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Herve Hervieux. 1-2. If Lionel Faugere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Lariviere's late challenge caught a Portel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Lariviere helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Borderu getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jimmy Lariviere hit a great ball.
