Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaétan Kremer got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Solbre's Jackson Gourbeyre got control of the ball when Josselin Wiart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Duhoux hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Armand Tatin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stade Rennais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armand Tatin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Stade Rennais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintila Irimia to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Stade Rennais's goal looked a bit too open when Eden Scheffer came free, but 温西政 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armand Tatin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Donovan Michard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stade Rennais's supporters rose to their feet, but Donovan Michard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jackson Gourbeyre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eden Scheffer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jackson Gourbeyre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armand Tatin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Stade Rennais's Donovan Michard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jackson Gourbeyre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Armand Tatin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donovan Michard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jackson Gourbeyre made a huge save. If Armand Tatin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jackson Gourbeyre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintila Irimia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 温西政 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaétan Kremer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 99 minute of play. Stade Rennais's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
