After 22 minutes, Franz Mons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Nazaire Atlantique and the FC Bayern players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, one of Saint Nazaire Atlantique:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saint Nazaire Atlantique. When FC Bayern's Fabian Crivac, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Bayern. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nilmar Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bayern's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Zapata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Saint Nazaire Atlantique's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Crivac came free, but Robustiano Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half FC Bayern were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Crivac was the one to do the kick off. Robustiano Zapata made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Fabian Crivac sent off a good shot on target. Robustiano Zapata was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Fabian Crivac capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabian Crivac really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Nilmar Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Crivac who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Robustiano Zapata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Saint Nazaire Atlantique's goalkeeper Robustiano Zapata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilmar Borges. In the 71st minute, Alain Descat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Fausto Brito in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saint Nazaire Atlantique's Alain Descat. When Faudel Testard fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Nazaire Atlantique's protests and gave Faudel Testard a yellow card for diving instead.
