Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaël Friedmann got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Gael Besombes made a precise shot to the right of Gaétan Hennequin. Châteaufort's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Jean-Cyrille Garrigou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Châteaufort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rancenay the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Châteaufort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Cyrille Garrigou to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Rancenay were awarded a corner. Leonard Le Breton went to the cornerflag to take it. Gaétan Hennequin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylan Le Moullec in the 15th minute of play. When Jacques Leboucher fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rancenay's protests and gave Jacques Leboucher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Rancenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Leboucher to maneuver through the defense. Raymond Lengrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaël Friedmann in the 30th minute of the match. Dylan Le Moullec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gaétan Hennequin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gael Besombes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gaétan Hennequin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Rancenay's goal looked a bit too open when Gaël Friedmann came free, but Raymond Lengrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaël Friedmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Lengrand having to interfere. In the 50th minute of the match Châteaufort got a corner. Rancenay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marc Charrier ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Châteaufort's corner Marc Charrier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raymond Lengrand quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dylan Le Moullec was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Rancenay's Dylan Le Moullec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaétan Hennequin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 2-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Gaël Friedmann elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Dylan Le Moullec came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rancenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Le Moullec couldn't finish the play. Gaétan Hennequin came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rancenay's Gael Besombes. But to his dismay, Gael Besombes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Rancenay's Gael Besombes in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Châteaufort's goalie prevented a goal. Gael Besombes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaétan Hennequin having to interfere. Jean-Michel Courtial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Raymond Lengrand made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaël Friedmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raymond Lengrand. That made the score 3-2 in the 82 minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Rancenay's Dylan Le Moullec made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaétan Hennequin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaël Friedmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Raymond Lengrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Michel Courtial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Rancenay got a freekick which was hit by Gael Besombes. Jean-Michel Courtial received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Raymond Lengrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymond Lengrand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Michel Courtial in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Châteaufort players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rancenay.
